About

Hello and Welcome!

Thanks for checking out my blog. This blog consolidates three different blog locations that I have used over the past four years, and will be my only blog address from now on.

I write about various subjects that interest and/or concern me…music (of course), food, travel, the outdoors, health and well-being, current events, and other things.

I hope you enjoy reading these posts. Please let me know what you think…and please share them.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Preston

  2. Hey Preston ..
So enjoyed seeing you Cumberland RI …and when you mentioned the idea behind Instrament Landing ….the hair stood up on the back of my neck…Coming to a point in your life were you have to deal on raw instinct or your God given best instincts

In a world feeling Bankrupt by putting faith in unnatural things contrary to what is their natural best instinct ….I’ll be contacting Cathy

    Hi Preston,
I knew a guitarist by the same name who attended Beloit College in Wisconsin. Could that be you?

Hi Patti. Are you Joe Byrne’s wife? Still living in Lancaster PA? Yep, it’s me. I used to stay with you guys when played in Lancaster.
How are you? How is Joe? Thanks for getting in touch! My e-mail address is fretgenie@gmail.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.
      All the best.

I saw you in (Creepy) Crawley before Christmas. A friend took me along. I had never heard your music before. I was blown away. I love finding new (to me) music. I spend a great deal of time working on the computer (Pro’ photographer; I miss film!) and find you music wonderfully entertaining and up-lifting.

Have you seen this guy play? I thought of him when I saw you play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tx4cRw6TIIg&feature=related He also plays over the top of the neck of the guitar. Can you see how many strings are missing? Let me know what you think.

Thank you for a great night. You have a new fan!

  6. Hello Sir!
I just came across the amazing TED talk that you gave with no words at all, and I was completely blown away! I have just started to learn to strum the guitar, and you truly are a huge inspiration.
    Thank you!

  7. It’s nice to see my influences and heroes out here, putting their thoughts out like this.
